Face it, your employer is not paying you more this year just because there's an extra day in the year.
Therefore all salary employees are essentially working for nothing today.

Enjoy your Monday at work thinking about all the hourly folks getting paid and you're not.

You mad because when you go on lunch break you have to "clock out"?

It's no big deal because I'm sticking it to the man today by posting on the OT all day.

Have you stopped to ask who is paid bi weekly as opposed to twice a month?

That's ok.. all the times that I have and will in the future leave work at noon to get in a round of golf on a pretty sunny day and still get paid, more than make up for today.

Don't forget to make sure that the Icee machine has full of mix in it, I may want one on my way home today.

Not true unless you are paid one-time anually.

If you were paid monthly $12k and there were (artificially by whomever minds time for the world) inserted another month into a year, would you still make $144k for that year or $166k?

I got 27 paychecks last year instead of 26, so whatever.

It's actually nice having the extra day because the short month can make your billable hours look bad.

Salary employees mean you are more important than an hourly employee and likely making more money. I'll take salary over hourly all day errr day.

I get paid bi-weekly, so this extra day is going to be one more paid day in 2016.

It's nice to budget on two paychecks per month then a couple of times each year I get a third that I don't budget for... that's when I buy the fun toys.

Serious question, which one is it? Do employers even factor this in? I'd guess not.

This guy gets it.

It's another business day on February (always the shortest month) that you ordinarily don't get. It helps the cripple.

Think of February like it was Arkansas or Mississippi.

It needs hep.

An extra day (February 29th) is some hep.

How many fun toys can you really buy with an extra $500 take home pay?

Great way for salaried folks to look at it.
I'll remind all come next January.
