You have no issue because you think you are on the side that won't be done wrong.
No matter the info you see yourself as a do-gooder. You don't picture yourself as the guy with his gun to his head because the system can't detect a license plate that can have the same number despite being in a different series.

I’ve done bad things. I’ve been arrested. I’ve even had a literal gun to my head twice. What makes you come up with that stupid line of reasoning ?

That probably had a lot to do with why some agencies are cancelling their contracts.

Congrats. You just made the best argument for gun control there is....i.e. people cannot be trusted to behave in a non criminal way with this tool, therefore the tool should be banned.

Almost like more surveillance=more crime solved. They should definitely get drones overhead with thermal vision (following everyone) and start recording conversations and tracking Bluetooth and cell signals. Just think of a world without crime.

It kind of sounds like you think people can't be trusted with freedom, so they need to be tracked in case crime happens.
These sorts of threads remind me of a time when people said they live in the free world, as if to contrast something Soviet Russia would do (warrantless tracking, presumption of guilt, no expectation of privacy). Instead they are willing to trade freedom as currency for security in the naive hope it pays off.

Because the police, who arent held accountable for much of anything, can be directed by the mayor or city counsel members to track your every move and harrass and follow you, just like they did in the video. Dont think that police and government are above this. They are not.
