I fed a stray black cat for about a year until it let me pet it. He hated my wife and would only let me and one of my sons near him. I had Lamont for 10 years. He was a good cat.

Ours just had her first litter
And yes they’re outside. Our cat showed up at our doorstep as a kitten out of nowhere one day. She is lovable and friendly but refuses to come in the house, if I pick her up and bring her inside she freaks out and hates it

In our house we have observed intermittent bouts of fierce playtime and naps and perfectly placed petting, along with some solemn remembrances.
