My uncle shot a black man in the back in Chattanooga in 55 and spent 5 years in jail and was a cop. He is also a major racist. I feel if it had happened today it would be a hell of a lot worse than anything we've seen in Baltimore or ferguson cause he wouldn't of backed down from talking to the media about his views.

I'm sure he'll have some more gems tonight when shite goes really down.

I had to scroll back up - I thought you meant the FNC reporter at first. He was on fire with zingers last night. I think at one point he said something to the effect of "I believe this protester is intoxicated on the alcohol that he just stole..."

Yeah it feels like the calm before the storm.

It will be interesting to see how the police forces respond tonight. We'll also see how the "leadership" responds.

To anyone that works in enforcement: thoughts on the curfew tonight and not last night? It's one thing that really bothered me.

I don't like curfews, feels like martial law to me. The military is not trained to do the job of the police either.

The police are not to blame for their reaction, the mayor and the police leadership have handicapped the officers here.

The officers involved in Grey though should be held accountable if they are found to have conducted wrongly

I keep seeing this photo pop up on my newsfeed and I'm not quite sure what's really going on here. Anytime I've encountered this situation in nola or philly they're always trying to sell me that water for $2 or $3.

Wow - supposedly police on the street are being asked why they're not stepping it up, and the response is "Ask the mayor." This will not end well for her at all.

I didn't get to hear the Governors presser, but i heard he tore her a new hole, and made her look like a retard.

Not sure if it was a separate presser, but he threw her under the bus on camera last night. Don Lemon was asking why resources were not mobilized sooner, and he pretty much turned to her and said "Ask the mayor."
