Why not let her keep the babysitting money and you buy her a laptop for the hell of it

Because I want her to treat this laptop better than her first one(A gift two Xmases ago). And teaching a 15 yr old how to work and save for something is invaluable.

And Shhhhhhh. I'm getting her the Iphone X as a surprise for getting her Driving Permit this week and making straight A's while taking 3 Honors classes(Geometry, Biology, and English) at Mandy HS her freshman year(she don't get THAT from me. ).

Sounds like paying for a one-time solution is a lot cheaper than paying for free daycare every summer...

Less children means less demand for day care, thus lower prices.

Congratulations, you just played yourself.

Quit bitching. I'm a single dad and between child support, medical insurance, and daycare its over 36k anually.

Moral of story is yo arse better be making some green if you have kids and get a divorce.

I'll make you a deal. You, as a taxpayer, send me some money to take care of my wife's outrageous health insurance premiums and I, as a taxpayer, will send you some money to help with your daycare woes. That way two taxpayers are taking care of each other instead of just one of us receiving money and the other one giving it.

The full time tuition kicks in next week. I have a 13 year old daughter (no pics) who could babysit, but my 6 year old is hell on wheels.
