It is bullshite but it happens every year at this time. What's the big deal?

further north its much worse (dark even.sooner).
And colder.
And bonus issue in elevation.
A hill or mt casts a shadow and brings on evening and cold at 3 pm.

Some people are so freakin' dumb. Days get shorter the closer we get to the winter solstice. It's really not a mystery that it doesn't stay daylight until 9 p.m. in November. This 6 week extension of DST, by the useless repuke Congress in 2006, exacerbated the adjustment in the return to standard time.
