Kind of a theological conundrum there. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with praying for Satan to have a change-of-heart and submit to God, but I could be wrong. Practically speaking, I think that if you did pray for Satan, God would probably laugh at you with St. Peter in some celestial break room- "get a load of this guy's email" type of thing.

So you're of the viewpoint that the Catholic church hasn't been complicit? The ones that profess the Bible yet diddle the altar boys?
There isn't one organization in the history of mankind that has covered up more sexual assaults than the holier than thous.

This is the exact "logic" that people use to try and discredit police, corporations, wealthy individuals, you name it. It's neither clever nor correct.

That being said - I do think a lot of the abuse accusations are false bc the church tends to settle out of court with large sums
