Is the next ironic TD'ism to go mainstream going to be "makes my speakers go boom-boom", or "rolls my windows down and cruise"? We've already seen "baw", "knuckle-check", "meet me at sonic", "New Iberia Haircut", and "That's a geaux tigers" make it into the every day South Louisiana lexicon.

I feel like Shady's had the momentum but must have fricked something up back-of-house. I seem to recall good crowds...I appreciated the Andygator on tap, but premium beer probably isn't where a Tigerland/Tigerland adjacent bar is going to make their money.
ETA: to all the people saying the location is somehow not conducive to a successful bar simply because a number of bars have failed there recently, see: Tiger Bar.

I certainly wouldn't invest in a bar named Dead Poet's Saloon that is going in a place where the three previous bars failed within two years.
