15 minute warning

This should be a great viewing with mostly clear skies. All the way across the SW to NE sky for 7 minutes.

We will be watching. My family always makes fun of me for playing “It’s The Final Countdown”, or “Space Oddity” by Bowie.

Need another dry/cool front. Mosquitoes were winning after the first 4 minutes. Had to give up after it was directly overhead.

So cool. Might be the clearest I’ve ever seen it over BR.

Thanks for the heads up. Seemed like it flew straight over my house. Pretty cool.

That was fricking awesome. 255 miles high moving at 17,400 MPH. Glad I stumbled upon this thread, I feel like that was a once in a lifetime type of sighting from my house. Went basically straight over me

A million mosquitoes, a hundred bats, and I just saw it in Madisonville. I live on old family land. I wonder if my great-great grandfather ever thought one day men in space would fly right over the ol’ homestead.

Very bright in Lafayette area. Very cool. Thanks for the heads up. Anyone have some good photos, mine are quite unimpressive.

It happens all the time. You can sign up for alerts that will tell you when it’s coming based on your zip code.
