odd American political metrics.

Why is the truth odd?

Did Obama give Israel's most hated enemy a nuclear deal?

Did he give Iran 6B dollars in cash?

If so, I would say Israel, by default, would be to the right of them, no?

Wait, pretty sure the Israelis were the ones dancing in the street on 9/11, no?

I remember it very well it was the Palestinians dancing on the street and singing. I was beyond furious. I remember thinking you total pos mfers, if it wasn’t for the US the Israelis would have driven you all into sea, and drown you all decades ago.

frick them, the Arabs refuse to help them with anything but weapons it’s really all their fault.

Israel will hit Iran, zero doubt on that. We should help them this time and completely destroy their Air Force and Navy then close them off with complete with complete embargo. Saudis would probably agree to cheap oil for 5 years for this

You asked about the hate for Jewish people. I said NAZIs hate Jews. You wouldn't call killing millions of them rational would you?

Because your idea of political socialism is not grounded in reality.

Socialism isn't a political ideology. It's economic.

You're boring me now and showing your ignorance.

Yes, I would call that irrational.

Perhaps you meant the opposite.

have always felt the Middle East views the Palestinians as we view the homeless in America. They provide nothing to society, are a massive nuisance and drain on resources, nobody WANTS them, but what the hell are we supposed to do with them?

Napalm.

I’m sure none of the soon to be refugees from Gaza will wind up in Europe, spreading Jihad and sucking off the public teat.

You said I was being irrational for bringing up that the leftists today have a high opposition to Israel.

They tend to be more sympathetic to the terrorist organizations of Hamas.

So, conflating the two is not irrational.

I apologize. I probably didn't make that clear enough.

The sheer scale of the hostage crisis confronting Israel suggests that the experience of the country’s most high profile former hostage in Gaza, Gilad Shalit, who was held for five – and a half years after being taken prisoner in 2006 is unlikely to be indicative of how they will be treated.

While Hamas has probably based its judgments over how Israeli society will react to a large hostage-taking on the precedent of Shalit, who was exchanged for 1,000 Palestinian prisoners, it is far from a given that Israel, reeling from the shock of Hamas’s assault and after declaring war, will see its hands as being tied by Hamas in its military response.

I’m not familiar with this story, but two thoughts:

1. Nations really need to stop negotiating for the release of its people.

2. That will not be the response Hamas is about to see.

Pretty much exactly what Hamas and Iran want. Stoke those fires and get the moderate Arab countries to see hundreds of photos and videos of dead and wounded Palestinian women and kids.

What should they do instead? Turn the other cheek?

All we need to do is offer Israel tanker support and persuade Saudi Arabia to allow the IAF to fly through their air space to reach Iran.

I wouldn't mess with a dude named Nimrod.
