When will people realize that diversity is far from our strength. It’s our downfall

Interesting, assuming that date is not a typo. These attacks would have been before the Hamas attack, which I kind of doubt.

How? By arresting some and not allowing hamas to campaign or vote in East Jerusalem in 2006 election? Or by hamas attacking Israeli and gaining popularity over fatah who was starting to be seen as giving into Israel too much?
If you are talking about 2007 communication between Israel and the US leaked with Wikileaks that was almost a year and a half after election and when hamas was nearing complete take over of gaza as fatah was actually seeking help from Israel against hamas and even if hamas did take over completely (as they did) IDF could treat them as hostile territory and more as official head of gaza with both winning election and then breaking gaza away from the PA. I guess that had something to due with various agreements with the PA that was no longer the govt in gaza.

The Hamas Fatah civil war is an interesting read. How anyone can say with a straight face Israel is occupying Gaza is beyond me.
Hamas is occupying Gaza. They have backed out of every attempt to form a unified Palestinian government with Fatah because they are a terrorist organization with no capacity to govern except by the sword - and their primary platform is the complete destruction of Israel and the Jews.

Correct. That’s why Israel helped to bring them to power

Stop infantilizing the Palestinians. They have autonomy. Every nation in the region tried to facilitate rapprochement between Hamas and Fatah, the West Bank and Gaza. It was rejected. Contrary to what Ronaldo thinks, the Jews really didn’t do this. The Palestinians, specifically those supporting Hamas in Gaza, did this.

Update: Hezbollah affiliate Al-Mayadeen TV network reported that Hezbollah fired 2 Burkan rockets, which are SHORT RANGE BALLISTIC MISSILES as we said, at an Israeli military post. A Lebanese security official also confirmed the report of Burkan rockets being used for the first time.

You then post hypotheticals, some older help hoping they fight each other in the 80s & even earlier when PLO was dominate faction & committing attacks left and right (before a declared palestinian independent state), some other keep divided-and-rule strategies after hamas’s takeover had already happened, and some allowing work permits and money in which goes against the open prison narrative.
So besides some old Enemy of my larger enemy can be used to our advantage strategies which have been used by others in the Middle East area including by the US with its own failures using it and some alleged attempting to take advantage of the post election split and keep them divided (i had given a better example already from Wikileaks) there is nothing mentioning the actual election you stated they helped hamas win.
Show us something on Israel directly supporting and helping hamas win the election.

Do you read what you are posting? From your own link assigning blame to Israel for propping up Hamas:
“Hamas was upgraded from a mere terror group to an organization with which Israel held indirect negotiations via Egypt, and one that was allowed to receive infusions of cash from abroad.
Hamas was also included in discussions about increasing the number of work permits Israel granted to Gazan laborers, which kept money flowing into Gaza, meaning food for families and the ability to purchase basic products.
Israeli officials said these permits, which allow Gazan laborers to earn higher salaries than they would in the enclave, were a powerful tool to help preserve calm.
Toward the end of Netanyahu’s fifth government in 2021, approximately 2,000-3,000 work permits were issued to Gazans. This number climbed to 5,000 and, during the Bennett-Lapid government, rose sharply to 10,000.
Since Netanyahu returned to power in January 2023, the number of work permits has soared to nearly 20,000.
Additionally, since 2014, Netanyahu-led governments have practically turned a blind eye to the incendiary balloons and rocket fire from Gaza.
Meanwhile, Israel has allowed suitcases holding millions in Qatari cash to enter Gaza through its crossings since 2018, in order to maintain its fragile ceasefire with the Hamas rulers of the Strip.“
So Israel has propped up Hamas by:
1. Allowing Gazans to cross into Israel and work for higher wages than they can earn in Gaza.
2. Ignoring sporadic rocket fire from Gaza.
3. Allowing cash to flow into Gaza.
If you are criticizing Israel for that, I think you might be a red pilled Zionist who thinks the correct course of option is complete embargo, isolation and destruction of the Gaza economy.
No one has hurt the Palestinian people more than Palestinian leadership. It’s been one tragic decision after the other since at least 1947.

I would love nothing more than for Hezbollah to go 100% in. Knowing that the number of prehistoric goat frickers to be erased are about to be tripled is like fricking Christmas.
