And quite frankly, I don’t see them rolling tanks and ground troops, and completely going through Gaza. Hamas will send waves of civilians out to swarm the Israelis, some will likely be Hamas martyrs wearing suicide vests to take out Israelis. If they then start indiscriminately shooting civilians, the international optics are horrible.

If an evacuation corridor is opened, how will they prevent Hamas from sneaking some of its leaders and/or soldiers out? I wouldn’t be surprised if Hamas did that to ensure that the organization survives no matter what happens in Gaza. Terrorists are often dressed like normal people, not always as soldiers.

Hamas is known to store their very best weapons in places of high emotional value. That’s why they were given extra time to evacuate the hospital. IDF is clearing out Gaza no matter what building needs to go down.
