I suspect us and most of Europe told them not to pick that fight. If Iran actively does something I think they'll answer, but as long as it's through proxy groups I think Israel will be told to stand down.

The mullahs are in a low key civil war with their own people. The best way for them to consolidate their power is to have an external threat.
As of right now, Iran and Russia are the big winners, now matter how it turns out. Russia gets the west's attention off Ukraine, Iran gets to give Israel a black eye and sink the Israeli-Saudi peace deal.

MSM outlets reporting that Israel just killed 70 civilians in a caravan moving south in Gaza. I saw video taken by a civilian walking by the scene and it looks legit.
