Yep.
IIRC, Hamas’ base of operation in Gaza is the hospital for the strip. Everyone knows that the leadership is based out of there but they also figure Israel would never dare bomb it.

OSINTdefender on Twitter/X:
"According to Syrian Sources, the Attacks this morning by the Israeli Air Force on Aleppo and Damascus International Airports were much more Serious than usual Airstrikes with both of the Airports suffering Significant Damage to Runways and Infrastructure."
"This is likely meant to be a Warning against Syria, Iran, and any other Country which may Support or even Join a War against Israel."

New: Hamas took at least 64 captives into the Gaza Strip during fighting that began Saturday, at least 49 of whom appeared to be civilians, nine of them children, according to a review of visual evidence by The Post. Our latest investigation here:
quote:
Neither Israel nor Hamas has said exactly how many people are being held in Gaza, but the issue has wracked families in Israel and abroad and looms large in advance of a possible invasion. In total, we found visual evidence that fighters took at least 106 people captive.
quote:
Beside those who appeared to be taken to Gaza, 26 captives were seen being held in locations that could not be verified, and 16 were seen only in Israel. Hamas has said that it holds “tens” of people. Israel says that Palestinian fighters took between 100 and 150 people hostage
quote:
The videos show a mother and children driven off in a truck, foreign workers held in a subterranean room and young people taken from a desert rave attacked shortly after dawn on Saturday. In one case, fighters used a woman’s phone to livestream their abduction of her family.
quote:
The images show captives being taken from numerous locations across a swath of territory more than 20 miles wide, from the village of Nir Oz in the south to the main Erez border crossing in the north, reflecting the broad sweep of Hamas’s incursion across southern Israel.
quote:
In one widely publicized case, a video shows a man carrying a child down a road, surrounded by armed fighters. @Cen4infoRes geolocated it to the kibbutz of Nir Oz, which we confirmed. The Post spoke with the boy's older sister, who identified him as 12-year-old Erez Kalderon.
quote:
Erez was hiding in his family’s safe room along with his father, sister, cousin and grandmother during the attack, his sister said. They are all missing.
Another widely circulated video showed an elderly woman being driven by armed fighters through Gaza in a golf cart.
quote:
Adva Adar, who lives in Israel, told The Post that the woman was her 85-year-old grandmother, Yafa, who is ill and takes medicine, including for pain management.
“We don’t know how long she can stay without her medicine,” Adar said.
quote:
Though around three-fourths of the people seen being taken captive in Gaza appeared to be civilians, soldiers were also taken prisoner during attacks on military posts. One dawn attack on the Erez border crossing in Gaza’s north was recorded on video and published by Hamas.

Translation - Israel used the kinds of munitions meant to destroy airfields and prevent their use.
It was a message of what they could do if they REALLY wanted to.

Apparently France’s government has outlawed pro-Palestinian protests.
Oh yeah, SWAT teams in riot gear started putting that shite down a day or so ago. The UK may follow their lead.
They should allow them a few times and make a list of names involved before shutting them down.

Probably preventing air resupply of Hezbollah.

I don't care how many times I get shot, if I've got a gun, there's no way in hell I'm letting a hajji goatfricker take me hostage.

The other Twitter posts on the subject said that the Iranian official had Quds troops, munitions, and other stuff on board with him. And the attacks were done shortly before he was set to arrive.
It was an implicit threat.

Some folks are already using these images as evidence of war crimes, calling it "indiscriminate bombing" that can't possibly be targeting terrorist/military targets.
That's disingenuous and they know it. The reality in Gaza is that more often than not military targets cannot be differentiated from civilian developments. That is the way of Hamas.

Dozens of fighter jets and helicopters attacked a series of terrorist targets of the Hamas terrorist organization throughout the Gaza Strip.
So far, the IAF has dropped about 6,000 bombs against Hamas targets.

These boyfrickers aren't even using aljazeera. They're just sending the videos straight to their mommas.
They need to gas and napalm the motherfrickers.

So is this the plan by Israel:?
1. Launch a ground offensive against a civilian enemy?
2. Attempt to differentiate between innocent civilians and Hamas?
3. Kill only the Hamas fighters, while attempting to spare innocent lives?
I think I've seen this movie before. It's going to get very messy.

Really? After what we've seen in the United States, you believe what you just said?

The sooner they do it the less harshly their ROE will be judged by the international community. However, Israel hasn't historically been too concerned about that.

Hamas has a large network of tunnels and bunkers in Gaza, and they'll be able to ride out the bombing with limited casualties. To really hurt them, Israel will have to send in the IDF.
Hopefully not, it’ll be a meat grinder. The IDF will take a lot of casualties.

Hamas leaders:
"Do not leave your homes. We live in our homes, and we will die in our homes."
When you integrate weapons of war into the lives of your civilian population and then tell them not to leave their homes, you have chosen a path of civilian destruction. There is nothing good about it. It just......is.
