Since I have been working from home these days I do not listen to 97.5 as much. However, I did catch part of his show a couple weeks back and I swear he said he wasn't getting paid by the station. It could just be radio speak but I know that a few of the line-ups changed on the station post-COVID.
He might just be working for free as stupid as that sounds.

I would expect one of his close personal friends have had the conversation with Josh that it might be time to pursue another career or skill.
I don’t think anyone is having that conversation with him.
He has to be close to mid 30s now. Time to give it up.

It has to pay better than his YouTube channel but I really can't imagine he's pulling in much right now. I should listen every now and then to see what the fuss is about.
