I've only tried to relay to you that you don't know either, and that to claim to know how you would react with 100% confidence is ignorant.

When did I say I know with 100% confidence how I'd react? The closest I came was when I said "I'd be damned if...". But I was basing that on being in a position where I've already exhausted all hope of of a successful outcome. All that's left at me at that point is to have at least a modicum of control over how my last moments go. I'm not saying I'd go Chuck Norris and kill them all or whatever.

Sword? Axe? Not saying I've seen it done but one would think a sharp enough blade could be a one swing and done event

You know they have alibaba swords just stacked up in the corner. I think they use the knife for psychological purposes.

Making this argument with a bunch of Catholics is just worthless. They all think they started Christianity with Peter.

Good question. Is ignoring it a possibility?

I assume a lot of people who be on his arse over that. I wonder how ISIS would react to that.

Great question. I'm going with the needs of the many outweigh the needs of an individual. As callous as that may sound.

I do agree on that. Having a family member in a situation like this would definitely change my POV though.

Pretty clear to me.

Of course it would. Sentiments and emotions take over at that point. But, the people running stuff and with much more intelligence information have to come first in their assessments of any situation.
