Is there such a thing as a swift beheading? Especially if it is done by hand?

Then your judgment sucks. I'm not the one preaching to others about how they would react to being in this guy's situation. Guess you failed to notice those who are arrogant enough to claim to know how people they don't know would react.

The crusades were bloody and horrendous on both sides.

But if we're going to dredge up history...

The Crusades lol dude. That was what, 1000 years ago the abortion clinic is a better argument.

Besides, I don't consider Catholics Christians. They identify as Catholic foremost.

That's funny, I'm trying to get you to admit you don't KNOW how I would react.

Darth, I've never claimed to know how you would react. I actually conceded to CR that he might in fact do exactly what he says (see pg. 8).

I've only tried to relay to you that you don't know either, and that to claim to know how you would react with 100% confidence is ignorant.

Still, don't you have to strike it just right to not hit bone? Is a sword going to slice thru bone?

Just between me and you, that is exactly what straw man means.

A straw man is a common type of argument and is an informal fallacy based on the misrepresentation of an opponent's argument.

You brought up the fact that I am a Desert Storm Vet...

Here..

quote:

you're out of your element and bragging about driving a tank in the gulf war doesn't have anything to do with this.

and tried to make it out that I was comparing my experience there to this guy's experience with ISIS when I'd don't nothing of the sort. You were trying to defect the debate by creating a straw man about my Desert Storm service. I never "bragged" about it but you tried to create a narrative that I did.

You ask any Muslim what they are. They say Muslim regardless of sect.

You ask a Catholic what religion they are, they respond Catholic.

You ask any Protestant sect, they'll return Christian not their denomination.

They still are Christians. They still follow Christ. They still believe in the Trinity. They still believe Jesus died for our sins and He is the only way to salvation.

They may have other beliefs that stray from other denominations. But they are still Christians.
