My old roommate is dealing with this. His wife has put on well over 100 pounds. They have one kid who is 6. After having the kid she dropped back down to her previous weight. She is putting on about 20 a year since then. She is a stay at home mom so she has time for gym etc. It's only a matter of time before he steps out on her.

I just never could get serious with a girl unless I thought she would stay reasonably fit. It’s not that hard to tell. My wife has had 4 kids. She started Crossfit in the fall and looks as fit as ever. I think weight gain that sticks around after kids is often just a cop out.

My wife is obsessed with fitness. I wish I was as obsessed as her. My weight fluctuates up and down.

Right now I am about 190 lbs. (over 6 foot tall so decent shape)

My wife will never be fat. The minute her clothes start to fit a little tight - the diet begins.

I am VERY fortunate because her sister and her mother are both over 200 lbs.

I can vouch for this being no homo. I often notice other handsome men. It’s like a club of sorts

But she called me a fatass once I let myself go a few years.

She, on the other hand, had always been fat mood and miserable

Sure! I don’t believe in divorce unless adultery has happened. I just knew I would struggle if my spouse put on a ton of weight. I’d still love her and take care of her but I’d struggle if I felt like she was just letting herself go for no other reason than she didn’t care. Therefore I made the proactive choice to date girls that I felt like would stay active. My criteria was that she love Jesus, didn’t love drama and took pride in appearance without being vain.

When wife goes from 130lbs to 170lbs it's embarrassing they try to wear bikinis. No man wants to see that shite especially the half cellulite arse is hanging out and gut is a little bulging over. Just stop, do yourself a favor bitch and get a 1-piece that fits.

Unless they pop out a kid or two and dealing with temporary repercussions, there’s no legit excuse for being fat.

My wife was a size 9-11 when we got together 16 years ago. She is now a size 2.

My wife weighs around 105 lbs. She has great arm definition and perfect abs, and is as fit and beautiful now as she was when she was 25. If she weighed 250 I’d love all 250 lbs. that’s how weird 25 years of true love and commitment is. Perspective depends on the level of affection and the size of your ego.
