You sound weak minded. I'm doing sales calls and presentations in my office with dogs on my lap. Kids throwing shite at me and wife banging pots and pans. And I'm selling baby. I could sell a freaking tank right.

My three year old twin girls do not give a flying frick about mommy and daddy having to "work" on their labtobs all day.

Wife and son leave me alone 99% of the time if I say I'm working. My 1.5 year old puppy is a different story... always willing to take a break for puppy time!

We're taking turns taking breaks to keep our three year old and a one year old entertained, engaged, fed, napped, etc. as well. But it's going decently well and we're being productive.

Yes my two year old is giving me six feet of distance and respecting the need for quiet. She’s taken up studying Chaucer to fill up her time and her cooking skills have improved the past few weeks.

Mine is going better than expected. Wife is still working at the office, and I've let the kids sleep until noon every day while I get the bulk of my work done. They've bothered me a bit in the afternoons, but not too bad. Wife did work from home this past Friday, and I was dreading it, but she stuck to her area and didn't bother me at all.

So far, so good. Nanny still comes here until noon-13:00, kiddo goes down for a nap, and then I manage the rest of the day. Wife is back from work by early afternoons sometimes. She's a physician still seeing patients, but slowly transitioning to telemedicine.

I started working from home 6 months ago.
My main advice to everyone:
You need 2 sets of rules longterm:
- When you are working, you are AT WORK, and you have to have peace. Wife and kids have to understand you need to focus.
- You have to have HARD times for stopping each day. Like not even checking the phone. We picked 430pm, and a lunch hour. When I'm 'off' I'm off, and I leave the phone upstairs or on a counter where I can't check it every 5 minutes.
My main advice to everyone:

Yes, I'm at work, but the wife (no pics) is at working from home.
