Sorry to butt in, but that makes zero sense. You actually just called every republican a RINO with that statement.

Carry on, fellow intellectuals.

There are no signers of the bill of rights left. It's a myth. Buying in is a choice, but you won't see change.

I worry more about my 4 county commissioners now than I do Washington. Federal government is a fricking joke.

OK, fair enough. But you understand that when someone calls his self a republican and others identify him as such, and you say that the appointment is false, you are literally saying that person is a republican in name only, right?

I wasn't disputing your ideological self realization. My comment was a rebuke of the specific statement I quoted. You seemed quite content to condescend with nonsense.

Social media will be our Achilles heel. I hate all of it.

Is there any room left for someone who won't call themselves Republican or Democrat without being called Prog?

I'd love to see it.

This is the first time in my lifetime I feel like I really need to be careful what I say.

60’s was more divided. People aren’t being assassinated left and right. Kids aren’t being drafted. Black people aren’t third class citizens. Women aren’t second class citizens. College campuses aren’t rioting on a monthly basis.

I think the difference back then is there were real problems that needed to be solved.

Now, the division is over make believe stuff, from both sides, mostly perpetuated by the media. Social media then exacerbates everything by giving every idiot a platform.

You can be a commie too apparently. But you have to remember the ones doing that are so deluded and ignorant that it's not even worth it to try and explain the difference.

I wish more people would at least look into what anarchism really is.

So you're saying it's just the left? It isn't both sides most idiotic fringe 2% making everyone look bad? Nearly every person of every race and every social class i know are decent and level headed.

The difference is the moderate left panders to and empowers their radical wing. The moderate right doesn’t do so.

The differences in response to the capitol building incident compared to the blm riots is a perfect example.

Yes. Not organic either, by design. End game? No idea.

As we see QAnon believers elected, can you really say that?

I always remain willing to see the other side's perspective. But the past 4-5 years have had nothing to do with that. Once Trump won in 2016, Dems completely lost their minds and went on an all-out treasonous attack against America. This doesn't involve a difference of opinion within the general framework of our polity and Constitution.

True, but Big Tech can almost vanquish QAnon from the internet minus a seedy corner here and there. They can silence the POTUS. Short of an EMP attack on Silicon Valley, QAnon is powerless against Big Tech. The QAnon stuff that really bothers Big Tech disappears immediately from their forums.

Yes this is the most divided I've seen our nation in my lifetime. I'm 47 years old.
