that is because there is no middle any longer... only left.

the Rino's of today are the blue dog democrats of the 70' 80's.

and the Dems have gone so far left it makes the Rino's at least appear to be somewhat conservative.

Zell Miller(D) was more conservative than the Rino's of today

The major difference is that now you cannot trust the media or the politicians.

There lies my issue. If there’s going to be an uprising, it’s the politicians that need to be taken out. They’re supposed to be there to represent the people. Instead, over the years, they’ve learned how to manipulate government language to financially benefit from their job. It’s all a game and they’ve mastered it all.

As for the media, they learned they can get rich by shock value so they started reporting opinions by people who claim are “experts.” When in reality, they’re an American just like you and I. But somehow, they’re given the power to create a narrative that’s divided this country and are half responsible for what’s going on today.

The US broke away from England because the monarchy became too powerful. We wanted to break free from tyranny and iron rule. Sadly, our own government is trying to turn into the same thing.

Only issue is that I don’t see how a civil war everyone keeps saying is going to happen. Who vs who? Where? How? Where does the American military fit in if it’s civilians vs civilians.

On TV probably... in the real world people don’t really have a problem with each other

A Bill Clinton speech from the early 90s is remarkably similar to a Trump speech. Their statements on immigration for example are nearly identical. Go figure.

Not really. There is a class elitism about the RINOs, while the Blue Dogs generally espoused populist, working class values

Bill Clinton after Newt whipped his arse. There’s a big difference in 93-94 Bill Clinton and 95-2000 Bill Clinton.

After Citizens United ruling, you can't tell who is sincere. You know that by now, right?

With social media we have turned our back on the old adage of not discussing politics in polite company. There's a good reason for that proverb.

Seriously?

Companies are coming after Right Wing Folks.

Imagine is Right Wing companies did that?
Food, energy, etc.

Right wingers are much more tolerant than left.

I'm Right Wing. I keep politics out if work. Left wing co-workers assume I'm left wing. Because, they assume all Right Wingers are like them and profess politics everywhere.

100%

If you watch like 1995 state of the union. It's literally Trump's platform with rosier language.

So, deep down you agree it's a purple World act. You just are too proud to admit it. It's ok, you know.

This. No one is even a Democrat or Republican anymore to the other side. The government has finally succeeded in convincing people the other side is the enemy instead of the ruling elite in Washington. Just look at how they're responding to people storming the Capitol. It is an all out response because they were threatened.

They should have started rounding the politicians up and hanging them.

Not sure what you're getting at.

It depends on the RINO. Somebody running in MASS can afford to be more honest than Lindsay Graham, who has to at least pay lip service to conservatism.

One day you'll realize there is no RINO. There's only DC.
