Very true. I would love it if they opened a Popeye’s Express. You pull up and give the $10 and they give you a bag of food. It wouldn’t be that much different than how it is now but it would speed the line up without having to needlessly tell them what you want.

CFA has the intangibles tho. No one in fast food matches their service, speed, politeness, etc

That's some Olympian level, grade A, mental gymnastics there bud.
Popeye's is undeniably a failed experiment at fast food. Fast food is what they are supposed to be. They are miserable at the fast and polite. The only thing they get right (sometimes) is that their recipes are great.
Chick-fil-A (and McDonalds to a lesser degree) are pretty darned efficient at moving large crowds through. Unlike Chick, McDonalds food is sub par, but the quick, easy, consistent and relatively cheap meals are what keeps them crowded.

I'll tell you this I drove by Popeye's in Crowley last night trying to get on 10 East and stopped with 6 cars waiting on 13/Parkerson Northbound waiting to turn into Popeye's.....yes the drive through line was to the damn road. It was very similar to how Chick Fil A on Ambassador in Layette usually is. The parking lot was chock full with people parking basically anywhere they could find room for their vehicle.....I've literally never seen anything like that in Crowley outside of Rice Festival....it was fricking insane.

They're building an additional ChickFilA in West Monroe that's a few feet from their main store. It's going up in an area that used to be a drive through ChickFilA back before the new one was done.

If Popeyes didn’t have the worst employees, customer service I would say it’s a possibility, but chick fil a is safe

Popeyes was better than CFA even before the sandwich. The shitty service is part of the charm. You are lucky to be allowed to eat such amazing chicken.

Popeyes chicken sandwich is better than CFA’s. But people will go back to CFA’s customer service, not Popeyes.
