Popeyes chicken sandwich is better than CFA’s. But people will go back to CFA’s customer service, not Popeyes.

The last time I went to a CFA in Baton Rouge all of the employees were black and Asian so I don’t know if that applies to EBR.

Just had the Popeye's sandwich (spicy) and while it's good, I don't think it's better than Chic-fil-A.
The breasts in both are cooked perfectly. The piece of chicken is bigger with the Popeye's sandwich, which is good, and the overall sandwich presentation is excellent, with the semi-exposed sandwich poking out of the neatly folded wrapping.
However, the flavor of the actual chicken is still superior at CFL. Popeye's didn't bring the brining game that CFL did, and thus their sandwich didn't have that last, finishing flavor as you swallow a bite.
And Popeye's still doesn't have anything close to CFL nuggets, so I don't see the company going under any time soon.

Popeyes strips are better. They have flavor. And Popeyes has actual fried chicken.
CFA is decent, but if it had the same service as Popeyes no one would go.
The CFA Spicy chicken biscuit was damn good.

The Popeyes sandwich is good but there is too much breading on the filet for me given it is between two pieces of bread.
Popeyes is the undisputed champ of chicken on the bone among fast food places IMHO but their sandwich was sort of "ok" with me. CFL still has a unique sandwich and quality sides and clean well run stores. Popeyes not so much so.

As someone who's eaten a lot of SC chicken, I can say that's a false statement. It is pretty good, though.
