$4.1M/location. Popeye's is $900k/location. Popeye's dreams it could be as successful as CFA.

i have always felt popeyes has the best food of any chicken spot. i just abhor going and dealing with the bullshite that comes with going to popeyes. i have never seen such a poorly run organization ever. its remarkable how literally everyone in this country associates incompetence with popeyes. it really is remarkable when you think about it

i have not had the sandwich and i dont know when i will. going to an empty popeyes is frustrating enough. a busy one? thats literally hell on earth in my book

My wife ate a Popeyes Chicken Sandwich this week. Said it was better than CFA. I'm ready to draw up papers.

It is better than CFA.

To a room temp IQ like you, nothing. The rest of us it means not dealing with sub-standard service and food.

Chick-fil-a isn't worried about Popeye's. And nothing on Popeye's menu is worth interacting with their workers to order.

Chick-fil-a makes a killing and will continue to do so. But Popeyes ain't making that kind of money because of their customer service. Tons of people feel it is worth interacting with their usually terrible workers for their fried chicken (and you can add this chicken sandwich to that list).

You're confusing revenue with profit. I'm sure CFA is more profitable per location nonetheless.

Like I said in the big thread - do you know how good your food has to be in order to survive as long has Popeye's has with their horrific service.

I fully expect my shite to be completely wrong and take forever, but those chicken strips, fries, and sweet tea are incredible.

No, in fact I passed one on my way home from work (in Tulsa) and it’s drive thru was so busy, they had people walking up to cars to take their order.

At FT. Sill the BK and Popeye's occupy the same building, also has the best public wifi hotspot. I'd go to get stuff done because .mil networks are still in the dial-up era in terms of speed and reliability. Popeye's always had the shorter line but longer wait. That's with customers that aren't dragging their knuckles. Can't imagine the location at Line and 70th Street here.

I have a business degree so I may be a little more business savvy than you. But if Chick-Fil-A has a 4 to 1 revenue advantage over Popeyes, Popeyes will not be the death of Chick-Fil-A.

No, I'm using the numbers from the same source that reports total sales in the same year.

Doesn’t take but 1 visit to either, to witness which franchise is run professionally and which one does not. I’d bet a dollar to a dime the profit margin is greater at the mighty CFA. Personally I can’t stand their food, but the model works and they are penetrating their target market. Popeyes on the other hand, has an amazing product and are run horribly. Do they employ the bottom rung because of skinny margins? Do they have skinny margins because of the horrible employees, managers and owners? Obviously I am not speaking as to the masses, just the majority that I have witnessed.

No, because I didn't state profit, I stated revenue. Slackster is assuming something else.
