If you have to ask, the answer is always yes.
At least that's what every media outlet on the planet is telling me

It was always racist. Everything must be judged by today's standards. Tear it down.

Public Enemy’s Chuck D made Elvis Presley persona non grata for many hip-hop fans when he famously rapped in “Fight the Power”: “Elvis was a hero to most/But he never meant s— to me/Straight up racist that sucker was/Simple and plain.” (Flavor Flav finished off The King with the rhyme: “Motherf— him and John Wayne.”)
i truly think the person that is most racis’ is Chuck D.

Anything "white" related in any way, shape or form is racist.

I just read the lyrics. It is aboot lifting up good things and getting rid of bad. It does not mention race.

Exactly, but, the white millenials will scream racist at you if you play it. As far as Elvis, I have a hard time believing he was racist.

If they were proven guilty, then they would swing quickly,
Instead of writin' books and smilin' on T.V.
If f**king only.

Yes, and it's ALWAYS been racist.

I don’t think Hank Jr. or his fans really give a frick what some panty waist north of the mason-Dixon has to say about it.

I would wager the people who call Hank Williams Jr a racist have done ZERO research into his history involving his ties, great friendships, and collaborations with many great black artists throughout his career. He's a lot more diverse than just the so-called "redneck country" he is mostly known for. His greatest influence has always been the blues.
