Is this a stomach virus or some flood bacteria

4 out of 5 people who have been working on my parents house since tues have a nasty out both ends sickness.
Is a virus going around or just bacteria from cleaning River filth all week?
I'm the only one not sick yet, am I lazy?

I came down with something last night, was running 103 degree fever this morning before I went to the doc but they couldnt tell me anything. My mom came down with something also, weve been working in their house since monday.
My Paw Paw is also starting to have some of the same symptoms also.

I'm starting to feel congestion and very sluggish myself. Been working 5 days straight on various flooded houses. Pounding the emergenc and air borne

I was at first leaning to it being a virus the way it hit my brother. Then dad and mom. Now my girlfriend.
Strange I haven't gotten it yet though. I'm a swamp rat though. Maybe I've been exposed to these bacteria before.

what have they eaten? are they eaten prepared meals from REd cross that possibly could be sitting out for a prolonged period of time?

Someone I know who lives New Iberia got sick with the same thing you are describing. And he said he knows someone who got the same thing and went to Urgent Care and his fever was 105 and he was put in the hospital.

We have prepped most of our meals and all eaten the same things. I've all but ruled out food.

Actually I have been in the flood water since last Friday. The stagnant house cleaning since Tuesday.

Friday I started not feeling 100% and I continue to feel not that great. My ear and throat has been hurting, I am sure I caught a touch of something from someone.

I got it too - so did my dad and wife. Everyone's getting it including some people who haven't done cleanup so I'm not sure it's related. FWIW everyone I know that got it only had it for 24 hours.

Yeah, I've been shitting water for the last 24 hours. No telling what kind of virus and bacteria are floating about.
