Is there anything worse than having to write a check to gobment?

Worse time of the year is paying taxes just knowing that it is going to get wasted and go to somebody’s cousin to a study that will never result in anything happening.
Yeah dear Facebook
ETA: They shouldn't allow you to withhold so that way everyone has to write a check and see how large the number is. I don't think people realize how much they pay in taxes.

Stubbing your toe on the way to put it in the mailbox.

It's worse getting a refund and realizing that the gobment earned interest on your money instead of you.

Generally, I enjoy the social services they provide. If you don't like how tax revenue is handled, stop voting for the same people.

My quarterly taxes are a constant joy. There is nothing quite like writing that check and then turning on the tv and hearing screaming unemployed Leftists talk about overturning capitalism by force, and seeing 25 others filming it with iphones.

Yes. Receiving a large tax return and realizing that you gave the government an interest free loan because you didn't have your withholding correct.

Getting a paper cut on your tongue is definitely worse than that.

First world problem.
If you'd rather, you're welcome to move to Bangladesh and live on the floodplain with all the sufferers. I hear they don't pay squat in taxes.

Getting stabbed in the eye with a pen.

$100 bucks federal. $100 Bucks to the state.
I can deal with it.
I can deal with it.

Elect Biden and watch your tax burden increase towards 50%

Think of all the bassetballs and free breakfasts, though.

Yes, no, no, kind of.

Where does the other 80% go?

Yes. I'd rather pay the govt than pay child support to an unfit mother...even though it's pretty much the same thing.

What you call “waste” and “your money” is actually a lunch for an undocumented child, insulin for a person of size, a lifesaving surgery for a trans person, or a new Cadillac for a single mother. It’s really sad how many of you lack perspective and only think of yourselves

It's the people who benefit from the atrocious waste of tax dollars who are voting for the same people.
It's the small fraction of people who pay most of the taxes that feel tapped in the arse.
As Ben Franklin once said: As soon as people are allowed to vote themselves money from the Treasury, then the Republic is lost.

Yeah was going to compare it to buying tires but at least with tires you seem to get something out of them.Cant say the same for any form of gov whether it be local, state or federal.
