I lived with a female roommate for 3 years in college. The benefit was she paid half the rent and utilities, I got to watch her do yoga every day, she wasn't messy, and didn't mind when I had my girlfriend over.

If you're planning marriage, while I disagree, I understand the concept. But I know a guy who was dating a girl two months and asked her to move in. He gave up all his freedom right there. A guy I work with has been dating a girl long distance for less that 5 months and she got transferred here. He said he felt obligated to let her move in. He is 22. Dumb move.

The most generous scenario is that you're on the Autism Spectrum. It's far more likely that you're just a sociopath or a narcissist.
