I recently learned that Jack Antnoff has produced Taylor's last few albums which makes total sense. They sound like Chick-ified Bleachers albums.

It was a cool sound for mainstream pop but now all her songs sound the same. She probably needs to change it up if she wants to stay on top.

Always be ahead

The difference is Taylor Swift’s best work was early in her career. Her first three albums are actually good. She’s really jumped the shark.

i can't say I've listened to all her music but 1989 is a good album.

It was pretty unavoidable given my age and my love for white women. As far as pop albums go, that was pretty good.

It’s three concerts with people from all over the world coming here. Lots are coming without tickets. The economic impact is pretty damn amazing

My wife has a non-Taylor Swift related lunch planned in the FQ today. I am praying for her.

Hold old does she have to get before she starts feeling awkward about focusing on 12 year olds?

spoiling your daughter

If you don't spoil your kids when they deserve and it and you have the ability (responsibly) you're missing out on one of the greatest joys in life. But, something tells me you don't even have kids; you're just envious of other kids you knew when you were young.

Taylors lyrics are so deep and meaningful. These women are on a pilgrimage.

I think it's better than when I was growing up and all the young girls my age were idolizing no-talent arse clowns like New Kids on the Block. At least Swift co-writes her music and puts on an entertaining show. As far as pop music goes, some of her songs are actually quite well written and really not that bad (yes, my wife loves her and I do get to hear her songs occasionally). Just my take.

You act like this is a new thing. Michael Jackson, New Kids on the Block, etc, etc used to draw crowds like this and create this kind of madness. Who gives a frick? People enjoy going see a show put on by their favorite musician.

There are people who go to campaign rallies (which I don't understand. I don't care who its far, no politician is worth my time). Why does it bother you?

An awesome chick to look up to for young wine is Codie Sanchez, entrepreneur, motivated, and fairly based in her views. She’s married and tries to expand upon that and work life. There are far more impressive role models to have than a pop star.

Yes, I'm sure my 11 year old daughter would much rather listen to a podcast entitled "How to accelerate your wealth with boring businesses" over a Taylor Swift album.

Kinda like adults obsessing over college kids playing a game

Except it's nothing like a sporting event where people bet actual money on and have loyalty and more invested in a school than an entertainer.

There is more money in college sports, i.e., TV Networks, advertisers, boosters, sponsors, etc.......

Comparing a single music entertainer to an entire sport is just absurd.

I must be terribly out of touch as I have never heard a song of hers.

My musical tastes run to Earl Thomas Conley, Conway, The Beach Boys and Paul Davis.

You almost certainly have you just didn't know it. It would be virtually impossible

Bold statement here. But this event will bring more revenue to New Orleans than the SB will.

if you held a gun to my head I couldn't tell you one song of her's, only heard a snippet of a few seconds of her "singing" once, and that's all I could take

The SB is a 2 week event and brings media from all over the world and some big spenders and corporate executives and big time money.

I don’t think TS will touch the Super Bowl revenue $$$$$

Many swifties are grown women, which makes it so much more pathetic.
