not if you wrap it right

Per Kiran, there were some Gardere hoodrats in a Chevy Malibu that were recently arrested and charged with unlawful disposal of human remains and obstruction of justice for moving a White girl to a different location that had OD’ed in their presence.

So BR is good, crack houses in BR not good. Noted.

The "how will this reflect on Baton Rouge??" subplot is pretty funny. Don't worry. People already knew BR had a hood. Your Zillow riches are safe... I mean, such as they are.

People seem to be reading way too much into this story. I would bet that's what happened to this dude. He comes to BR for whatever reason, dude goes on a binge and finds out where the traps are at. He bought as much of whatever drug he uses as possible and OD'd. All of a sudden he is dead, there is a body and they have to do something. Calling the police would bring too much attention to all the illegal activity going on there, cops asking questions, etc. So wrap him up, throw his body in a field.

I think its safe to assume you can't buy coke or heroin that doesn't have fentanyl in it.

No… I know you think it goes like that.. but it doesn’t… 90’s era crackhouses don’t exist in that capacity anymore… now in rural areas yeah everybody probably in the same trailer…

I don't know about in BR, I assume there are, but I know in other areas that are not rural where there are what would have been referred to as "crack houses". They are called trap houses, drug houses, etc.. I don't have access to this stuff anymore, but I wish I were able to show you pictures of some of these places with needles everywhere.. The sad part is there there are dirty diapers in these places.

If there is an old abandoned house around in a bad area at some point it will be used.

Do they not have accessible ramps? Not very inclusive of the crackheads.

Not just in bad areas.

I saw it with some abandoned flood properties in a couple of fairly decent areas.

It was mentioned earlier in the thread that he had 2 biological teenage sons that had were adopted by their stepfather. So sadly I am guessing this isn't new.

Is it normal for people with cars to be in that type of neighborhood doing drugs? I would think if you somewhat had your life together you'd go somewhere a little better but I'm clueless on that lifestyle.

I doubt it was junkies that removed and hid the body. My guess is it was the people selling the dope out of the trap house. They had something to loose and likely access to a vehicle.

Did they find him near where they found Dusty Bambarger or was that on the other side of I-110?

I remember that story. They tracked his Yukon using OnStar. Seems like I remember they found him in a field somewhere.

Speaking of, did they ever catch his murderers?

That was a while back. Just reiterates - frick this city.

Coke doesnt make you walk around the ghetto at 4:30 am. He was taking/looking for opiates and that’s why he was in that area. People that OD from fentanyl cross contaminated coke are almost always middle-upper class and at someone’s house. Not a crack house in North BR.

Crack houses are dead. Trap houses are not.

You've never driven to the upper 9th ward at 3am for Fishscale?
Hell you get it where you can get it

It is starting to sound more like opiods though.
Coke is harder to find so that still is possible.

But according to reports he had already lost his phone at 2:30 am. This was indicated from the conversation he is said to have had with the lady at the bus station who said he couldn't find his phone and was trying to get back to the hotel.

I would be willing to bet that he left his phone downtown intentionally because his wife was tracking him.

Wouldn't he have left it in his room instead of on the street for a stranger to find it. Your theory doesn't make sense. Dude was f ucked up and dropped his phone. Simple as that.

I’ve seen it first hand so not sure what else to tell you. I’ve also had a friend OD at a drug dealers house in valley park and get found dead in a ditch a street over. Drugs are used where drugs are sold. Drugs are also sold in places and customers are told to frick off after. It goes both ways
