Plenty of people use drugs almost daily with "no history" of use. Unless you're popped with drugs or piss dirty most won't know.

Quite a few folks around there. You'd think if foul play was involved, someone would've heard something. A yell, dropped bottle something like that.

Man just wanted to do drugs and hookers while he was away from his wife and kids. So sad. Could have been me.

Yeah, it seems like his facetime from the PMAC was basically just to show his wife he's being well-behaved before he went full-on rager.

I'm sure there are exceptions but not very middle aged white people use crack to my knowledge. Probably heroin.

The only time I have ever seen someone smoke crack, it was a middle-aged white person. I feel like it would be good for most young kids to see a tweaked out crackhead while they're impressionable.

Not to mention Exxon is not exactly a quiet place. Plus people living in those areas know not to go snooping around if they hear something unless it’s on their property.

Or post about rehab on Linkedin which is apparently how a lot of people on here knew about his history of drug use.

Yeah but this guy has a normal job, married with 5 kids. It just doesn't fit the profile of a crack user unless he's willing to do whatever he could get. That screams former opioid abuser that's using heroin now.

I've known several middle aged, middle class white people that have died from fentanyl/heroin ODs. Sounds like he may have gone to treatment and had started to relapse or maybe this was his relapse and he died

Another interesting point I haven't considered, if this guy went looking for drugs and found them, why would he stay in some crack house and use them vs just go back to his hotel? That's not really a crowd people who look like that guy would typically want to hang out with

The problem with addiction is that it can completely take over a persons psyche. Addiction doesn't discriminate, it is powerful and led to Millard's decision to seek out a high risk lifestyle. If Millard was kicked out of Happy's that is a sure fire inclination that he was fricked up beyond all repair.

Millard kept his need to continue on with his high and went out looking for dope. It is was addicts do and they don't care about the company they associate themselves with. From the outside looking in, for the vast majority of posters on this board think a middle aged, 42 year old husband and father hanging out and doing dope in some NBR trap house with NBR crack heads is abnormal behavior. However, when addiction is very real in someone's life that kind of high risk lifestyle is the norm.

Did the police search the rental car? I'm assuming the client that he was with was cleared?

Seems like 3 likely scenarios right?
1.) Client and him got into a drunken argument and killed him, tossed phone out car window to throw detectives off, returned rental car to have cleaned and reused to potentially hide evidence.

2.) Robbed and killed

3.) OD'd with someone he met that night in their place, and they dumped his body. Could be anything from someone else at the strip club, stripper, to a homeless junkie.

The death isn’t being treated as a homicide. He overdosed.

I don't think #1 would get nearly enough votes to be considered a likely scenario.

Have they officially said that?

Regardless, the man was wrapped in carpet and dumped by somebody.

I don't think this scenario is likely at all. It's weird how many people are focused on this guy

The EBRP Coroners office has not updated their website for OD and homicide stats since 2/27/23

That scenario would be the best Dateline or Netflix doc.
