I was always told that it was food poisoning that killed him.

That's why I missed it. He said it wasn't on Scenic but technically that building has a Scenic address. I was looking the other direction.

If he was smoking crack, you don’t need much of a rig to do that.

Apparently every ghetto convenience store stocks “roses” or the various components needed to fashion one.

The area where the body was found is very secluded and would be very familiar to NBR locals.

very secluded is how i would describe a random trail road in east feliciana, not an intersection that everyone that goes to exxon, still one of the largest refineries in the world, usually passes through on their way to work or deliveries.

Right. This is the same OT that says every dead rapper had it coming for them yet a middle aged drug head white guy deserves sympathy?

This was posted on Facebook on March 4 in a group called Justice for Nathan Millard, apparently by a friend of his wife's. It appears the wife did go to BR the day after he was reported missing. No indication on how long she stayed.

pSsnoreotd43u7c31t mu3:h0Mr M 44htPcal3h13f1i393al81li3h770 · I want to thank everyone for their efforts, findings, and discussing this and what is happening and aiding in finding Nathan. You have invested your lives into a complete stranger…You have put your time and effort into this and are part of the story. We appreciate you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ?? I know everyone is entitled to their opinion and they are allowed to voice it. I just ask that you please remember the family and their friends are part of this group. They see and read the comments, we all do. Please show grace and put the shoes on your own two feet and how YOU would feel if you read those things about a loved one…words do hurt. There is no handbook that tells someone how to handle this.

They have a daughter that thinks her daddy is lost, the last thing Amber needs to do is go to the same town and worry her daughter. Her kids need her at home and honestly that's where she belongs right now! They need her, they need each other. Myself and Amber flew into BR the day after he was reported missing. We arrived on Friday. We walked and drove the streets, we saw the area. We aren’t locals. We can’t just go knocking on doors. She is letting the search team and detectives do their job, as they have advised her

It’s real easy to do assume things about someone when you aren’t in the situation. You don’t know or understand what she, her children, family, and friends are going through. They are living a nightmare and are trying to get through each day.

Maybe he didn't have his rig? Had to stay and borrow one?

You can turn a coke can into a smoking rig.

Google Maps the exact spot

Quite a few folks around there. You'd think if foul play was involved, someone would've heard something. A yell, dropped bottle something like that.

I know I’m a few pages late but responding to the pics of all the drug bottles under the overpass. Saw a pic like that from Harrison Ave in Lakeview Nola this week. Where are they getting the scrips? Is this a Cleghorn thing all over again?

Wonder if she met with the "Josh" person while she was in BR.

Wonder if there has ever been any interaction between the two.

Nobody in that neighborhood is going to talk to the cops if they witnessed foul play.
The wrapping of the body is an indication Millard died elsewhere.

He was almost certainly just dumped there. That's not that close to where he was walking around.

Not really. He was behind an abandoned building with empty lots all around.

That area gets very little vehicle or foot traffic. Exxon has bought up most of the property around there, and are demoing all the houses. It’s pretty much a ghost town once you get off the main roads.

Whomever dumped the body there is very familiar with that area, or lives very near by to know that those garages are even there.

Locals that knew where to dump him semi close by. That's not the first body discovered off of Scenic Hwy that had been there awhile.

Yeah well if you'd ever been in that area you'd think it was somewhat secluded too. Especially late at night.

This post sounds like they were worried about something, like an overdose. May not have been the first time the wife had to go out looking for him.
