What made you pick those locations mike?

I thought like this:

I just killed a guy in downtown Baton Rouge and have to get rid of him quickly. It doesn't have to be perfect so he's never found but just as long as it takes 48+ hours to find him .

Those outlets heading North/East out of Downtown Baton Rouge made PERFECT places for such a dump.

This was all before we knew about partying with the crackheads. I was assuming a carload of bad guys passed him by chance while walking back to hotel drunk.

It's a few miles IIRC. I avoid that area of BR entirely if I can help it. I haven't been on Scenic Hwy or Chippewa in probably 20 years.

I think many of you are overthinking this. It’s likely he got some tainted coke and OD’d. It happens, quite often these days.

An OD will absolutely have come from fentanyl and not b/c it was tainted coke. Tainting coke with fentanyl has been happening but it's not nearly common, yet. It serves NO purpose whereas adding fentanyl to heroin actually DOES(they just frick up the ratio and people die).

I can almost guarantee you the were not doing rails of Soft(powdered cocaine) that night. It was 100% crack or heroin. And if it was the former, he didn't OD.

Good areas to dump a body, lower traffic, overgrown, run down.

If I'm not mistaken there is a funeral home right there.

I assumed coke given how much was withdrawn from his account. But I have no idea what the going price of heroin or crack is.

That's likely. Or in the water. In a house after a few days the smell will travel blocks. In water the smell will only be local.

How do you know how much was withdrawn?

Heroin is more expensive per gram than Coke. Fentanyl is about the same per gram. Crack is far cheaper.

But who knows really. I take it back. He could have told Mr crack head "gimme an 8 ball of coke". Paid the money and the dealer, having only one white powder at his disposal, handed Millard 3.5 grams of fentanyl.

Then I take it all back. He could have thought he bought coke. That would have sucked.

Sure but if you're just doing crack, it's far less likely than doing actual cocaine or heroin.

You can. But not easily. If you have a bad heart maybe. But the way it hits people its hard to do enough to reach OD levels unless you have a bad heart.

Coke is similar. Pure coccaine is rare to OD from.

Yup. I ALMOST rode down that way too but ended up having to go the other way. If I had taken a right instead of a left I'd probably have seen the rug if it was there last week.

I don't know if you are chilling with the bum after buying is more likely Crack than coke.
Or heroin which is much much more commonly consumed near the purchase point.

Is it that bad and travels that far? I’ve always heard people say it’s an unforgettable smell.

I honestly hate asking in this thread and I pray for this guy’s family.

I knew two people that OD’d in trap houses and were just dumped in ditches and behind an old apartment building. Usually those guys just want the body out of the house and don’t really care if it gets discovered. The wrapped in a rug makes me think foul play but who knows

I came across a body after Katrina in Bioloxi. I'll never forget the smell or seeing maggots in someone's face.
