The fact that they didn't release the location his debit card was used is a little strange to me.

Sometimes, police withhold details like this in case someone confesses to doing something to this man. This way they would know if the perp has any real info or if he's just parroting stuff already put out to the public.

I hope this guy didn’t look at a map, see that both Highland Rd and Nicholson Dr route to the campus, decide to “ get done exercise” and take off on foot.

It's really not very dangerous at all. I mean I wouldn't venture to far out of downtown, but downtown itself is pretty dead on weekdays and on weekends there are police all over. I mean, shite there is literally a police station on the 2 block route from Happys to his hotel...

That's what made me wonder if he was abducted quickly by gunpoint, then his phone tossed out the window of the getaway car.
Then I wonder if he was forced to make withdrawals from ATMS or he gave them his pin number and they killed him and dumped him somewhere.

Some OTers should take a drive along choctaw, chippewa, spanish town, etc and other roads heading out of downtown BR with desolate areas where bodies have been dumped before.

We know the BRPD ain't doing that shite.

The phone being tossed and the debit card doesn't sound very good. That's pretty freaky to think about.

Yes. Sometimes. But THIS time, that police dept is the BRPD. They aren't withholding any details because they don't know shite about anything.

Hopefully this woman already has a PI on the way from Walton County down to Bettin' Rudge - because the gumshoes around here couldn't find their asses with both hands.

Probably headed back downtown after game and got into a bad area which is easy to do if he doesn't know his way around and someone saw an opportunity to rob him unfortunately

These are areas that would be no-brainers to check.
There's sections of grass/woods and vacant lots all along them.

The X on this image is the area where Gina Green's cell phone was tossed after DTL murdered her.

I guess you just don't think much about being kidnapped as a grown arse man. At least in the US.

It’s an open investigation, so the cops aren’t releasing the locations of where the debit card usage happened at. It’ll be very telling when that information becomes available. Sadly, I believe they’ll be a body that will inevitably be discovered.

Seems like there would be some video if he got taken downtown.

I'd think so too between private security cameras facing the street and the traffic cameras they have on every intersection. He was reported missing within 36 hours. I doubt that shite was overwritten.

But who knows if BRPD has anyone actively looking for this guy.

The missing man is smaller in stature, and more than likely was well dressed. Some hoodrats thought he would’ve been an easy victim to rob and force ATM withdrawals when he was seen leaving Happy’s, possibly intoxicated.

When I was staying DT at the Watermark for the Bama game last year, DT definitely had some shady looking people hanging out, close to the bars. My wife and I didn’t feel unsafe, but as the nights wore on, hoodrats were out in force on the weekends, looking to victimize.

I pretty rarely go downtown these days but my wife and I did go to a concert at the River Center a few months ago. We walked around downtown for a bit before and grabbed some dinner and drinks. It was fine but it also wasn't very late.

I just don't see that happening on that stretch of 3rd street. That's about as well lit and surveyed an area as you will get at 11pm on a weekday in BR. And to a male in his mid-40s? Just doesnt match any sort of logic for a random act of violent crime. Even dumb criminals typically arent that stupid.
