You'll never get to be at Alexander Shunnarah's status with a pickup truck.

I've been sweating the new F-250 since I saw it.
Supposedly have one on order, but no confirmation yet.

Ford's top of the line Platinum trim level is ahead of any other manufacturers trim level in every category, including price.

The Laramie I bought was 15 grand cheaper than the same class platinum and thought the ram was as nice or nicer(that's an opinion however)
Eta: I think I'm comparing apples to oranges. I should be comparing Laramie vs lariat

. So Budweiser is a Belgian beer?
Yes. It 100% is. I don't care how many times they put "America" on the label. Budweiser is Belgian.

My work fleet consists of Ram (Dodge) 2500 6.7 Turbo Laramies.... Top five biggest company in the world. I don't think we are trashy??

Sorry, when you are owned by an Italian company, you are Italian, not American.
So when Chrysler owned Lamborghini a Diablo was an American car?

Correct.
I think the Platinum is on another planet.

We have a lease contract with a company called Barco, so I'd guess you're right. I can tell you though the Laramie is one hell of a truck. I'm not a huge fan of the suspension on the 3/4 tons though.

The Cummins 6.7 is very solid and tbh, for a company truck, they are hard to beat in terms of dependability and cost.
If I had to buy/lease a ton of diesel 3/4s they would likely be my choice.
The issue with them is that they aren't as refined like the GM and Ford. A bit noiser and ride a bit rougher. Front end components don't seem to hold up as well.
Still, if I was rocking a company-paid for Laramie, I'd be pretty happy.

I haven't ridden in one of the new ones, but they are quieter than the previous gen so I imagine the ride is pretty good.
It is always a compromise w/ a truck to get the ride to be good when empty, yet not be terrible with a load.
You can spring it soft to ride well empty, but then it squats with a full payload.
That really is tough deal w/ 3/4 tons.

Good. I bought my wife a 6.6 High Country and it rides and pulls well. She wanted a loaded Tahoe so I compromised and bought her that. We didn't need 3rd row seating and I can make her tow the camper while I tow the boat.

Here they are driven by cops, esp the Drug Task Force, or as I call them the Dodge Task Force.
They drive everything from Charger/Challengers, to Ram trucks to Durangos, all unmarked.
State Troopers here in AL also have a few Durangos and Chargers.
So if you see a Charger you can usually buy drugs from it or get arrested. As it seems to be the primary vehicle for both sides.
