Is there a reason to have your light bar on driving down the interstate?

Mine are always on while driving my F-250. I like looking like Tron going down the road.

#1 indicator of mental retardation is the light bar.

no, but they get all pissy and shite when you let them pass and then tail them with HIDs on your high beam.

Never use my high beams otherwise

I have them on my work truck but it has a purpose. We load fish trucks early in the morning while still dark and it lights up the work area better. Also have on mounted on thd bedside for spotlighting ponds during oxygen trouble and the two small ones under my rear bumper are for helping hook up a trailer at night or backing one up.

There is no purpose in turning any of them on while going down the highway.

I dunno why someone down voted you. You gave good examples to why you need them. Also as someone else stated, those suicidal deer when traveling back roads is another good reason to have them.
