Is the U.S. Slowly starting to use kg?

Just went to the docs took my weight and it was in KG. They said it's the norm now.

I've been trying to get my company (glass) to go millimeters, and it's like pulling teeth. Most don't have a diploma, and I keep trying to teach them that factors of 10 are better than sixteen. Way less math mistakes with metric than with fractions.

So it does not embarrass the fattys, 300kg = 137 pounds.

We use metric for pretty much everything in medicine. It's been that way for a while. They may have told you your weight in pounds but recorded it in kg, because usually when you tell a person a metric unit they look at you like you have two heads.
