These people want to destroy everything that our nation is founded on. How long are good people going to stand for it?

Full Democrat support for these actions.

Liberalism is a mental disease. Kill it with fire

It does mention killing escaped slaves in the 3rd verse.

Francis Scott Key's grandson, Frank Key Howard, was imprisoned for being critical of Lincoln's suspension of habeus corpus at the start of the Civil War. Clearly this makes his grandson a Confederate sympathizer, and as a result means Francis Scott Key is a racist and needs to be erased from history.
Tidbit...Frank Key Howard was initially jailed in Fort McHenry, the subject of his grandfather's Star Spangled Banner.

You stopped being original and funny with these responses about a week or so ago.

I won't necessarily agree that Liberalism itself is the problem. The issue is that it has been infected by post-modernism and progressivism, which are far worse.

If BLM thinks Thomas Jefferson is a racist rapist thug, then the star spangled banner has no shot

In 5 years, we're going to look back on this stuff and laugh about how tame these people were.

It is if Soros and company tell them it is.

Read this slowly you fricking sheep
quote:
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution. No refuge could save the hireling and slave, From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave.”
-The Star Spangled Banner lyrics “the hireling ” refers to the British use of Mercenaries (German Hessians) in the American War of Independence
-The Star Spangled Banner lyrics “...and slave” is a direct reference to the British practice of Impressment (kidnapping American seamen and forcing them into service on British man-of war ships). This was a Important cause of the War of 1812
-Francis Scott Key then describes the Star Spangled Banner as a symbol of triumph over all adversity

This is the logical consequence of statue removal and caving to the race-baiting, identity politics of the SJW movement. It will never end until every vestige of this country's past is replaced by something deemed acceptbale by those who are perpetually offended.

I'll take that bet. My prediction, in five years the kind of people who are upset about this shite will be upset about the next cause: AI stealing rappers jobs or robot reproductive rights or just "where did the bees go?"
It's about the passion not the point, they'll get bored and move on.
Posted on 9/14/17 at 8:46 am to crap4brain
Yes, written by a white person, therefore racist.
