London (CNN Business)A popular knitting social media website has banned support for President Donald Trump on its platform, accusing his administration of propagating "open white supremacy."

Ravelry, a community site that allows users to share ideas about knitting and textile projects, said in a blog post Sunday that it will remove users if they express support for Trump on its forum, profile pages or any other content.

"We cannot provide a space that is inclusive of all and also allow support for open white supremacy. Support of the Trump administration is undeniably support for white supremacy," the site said.

This isn't as much about politics as it is about why is this a story.

This is a story about a site called Ravelry, which is a knitting site, making political statements.

Is this knitting site something more than just knitting? Who gives a frick what a bunch of knitters support?

Kinda made that obvious when you announce you are gonna ban people who dont think like you.

By the way, I hear about his "open support of white supremacy" all the time, but for the life of me, I cannot recall a time where that was the case. I saw AOC say the same thing on 60 minutes last night. Anyone know wtf she was talking about?

"Inclusive" has been bastardized by liberals like they did to "racism" and "diversity"

"Inclusive" just means "liberal viewpoints only".

They don't either. It's just what their puppet masters told them to think.

I've lived in the Deep South most of my life and the only white supremacist I've ever met is David Duke

These are the bigots who are responsible for this virtue signaling, nonsense

It’s always self righteous, white trash liberals who create propaganda like this.
