re: Is the earth flat?

The radius of the earth is almost 4000 miles. If the “firmament” is a hemisphere, and our eyes can see it, the peak of the dome should be (at minimum) 4,000 miles away. Why can our eyes see 4000 miles up, but not from Florida to Cuba?

Just because you don't believe the proof doesn't mean the proof doesn't exist.

Sure I can. Buy a seat on elons penis rocket or that other dudes penis rocket and see for yourself baw.
What’s wrong? Are you scared?

A million faults are pointed out with the narrative for example SEEING PAST THE DAMN CURVE
If the earth isn't curved, why is a ship's crow's nest up high?

Proof isn't about belief. That doesn't make any sense. Proof is proof, no belief required. You have a religious belief you can't prove and you defend against heretics.

You can see further from heights. Are tree stands because the field is curved? Good lord.

You don't believe Antarctica exists...
There is near infinite proof to it does.

Have any of the flat earthers ever explained why the powers that be are hiding the fact that the earth is flat from the masses?

I believe Antarctica exists. So much of what I've done in this thread is defense against your fake bullshite
Why can't you tell the truth

Why would that matter in the middle of the fricking ocean when nothing is in the way?

Cuz…cuz… you can see further…and stuff

Coriolis effect just doesn't exist at all. Snipers don't adjust for it. Water does not go down drains in a different direction in the northern and southern hemispheres, it's a fake meme it depends entirely on the original flow of the water and shape of the basin, you can make it flow different directions at your house
you can derive the Coriolis force from Newton's Second Law in a rotating reference frame without too much effort
and if you look at Navier-Stokes equations for fluid flow for a non-inertial reference frame you'll see terms for convection, diffusion, forces imparted by static pressure and viscosity, forces created by any external fields like gravity, and the experienced forces due to the rotating reference frame which includes an Euler force if the frame is accelerating, and a centrifugal and Coriolis force to account for the relative motion of the fluid within this moving frame.
if you lump the inertial forces together and compare them to the Coriolis forces, you'd find that the impacts of the rotation of the reference frame on fluid flow diminish as fluid length scales decrease or as fluid velocity increases. Therefore, it is wholly unsurprising to me that the inertial forces of the water operating within such a small length scale combined with all the forces present in the basin itself would outweigh the impacts of the Earth as a rotating reference frame.
Just taking the convective term alone and comparing it to the Coriolis term yields a number called the Rossby number and it's often used to judge whether or not we can expect inertial forces or Coriolis effects to "win out" when looking at the velocity and length scales of fluid flow compared to the rotational velocity of the reference frame.
If you didn't see a change in how water flows through a drain hole based on your location on Earth, is no way disproves the phenomena of the Coriolis effect, it's just not something you'd expect to see for a fluid like water in a drain at such small length scales because the expected impact on the fluid flow is fairly negligible because the ratio of inertial forces vs Coriolis forces is just skewed heavily towards inertial forces.

Why aren't there overhead shots from satellites of Antarctica on Google Earth? Take a look right now. They are spliced images, like they were stretched to fit a globe model.

in fairness some dude earlier was saying he didn't believe in radar so I'm not sure if these people believe light can be modelled as a wave.

Notice how that is literally all you can do. You can't think for yourself. Describing what you see with your own eyes draws derision. You went to school and thought getting all the questions right made you smart. I was the one that knew the lessons were bullcrap, was bored and unchallenged, slept to valedictorian status and the teachers hated me. Your assumptions are incorrect. You're crazy and brainwashed because you are scared you're stupid so you just believe the authorities, I'm intelligent and critical, I know I'm a genius the way everyone who has ever met me knows, it's not something I have to prove to the teacher. So I have the intellectual confidence to discern the truth on my own. You need to get on my level and stop worrying about what the authorities and your buddies say
