You’re a leftist fool, but I still laughed at this.

There’s too many snowflakes on both political sides who get offended by the dumbest things. In regards to Bud Light, kind of funny it took a tranny for a bunch of red blooded Americans to realize it’s a shite, flavorless beer.

I saw plenty of LSU fans drinking them at the game
When you have limited options people are gonna still drink

Has the whole overblown marketing mistake blown over?

I think their last report (September) said BL sales were still down 30% to last year. I believe that equates to still losing over a 100 million in sales a month compared to last year and that is continuing month to month. I think it is pretty clear they are not getting a massive chunk of their customers back. Maybe ever. Those commercials and BL's response shifted billions of dollars from BL pockets directly to their competitors. "Overblown marketing mistake" indeed.

You know, I'll just say a ton of guys simply grew up having dads who fished, golfed, watched TV etc with normal arse beer. And when I chose my own "brand", it was normal arse Miller Lite (and Milwaukees Best in college). No one grew up having a dad drinking some sour beer in a cute can and darn sure didn't have dads pounding 8% IPAs on 99 degrees days at the lake.

So, sip your Okra and coffee stouts and be happy. Some people just want an ice cold lager we can easily find at E-ZMart and not Whole Foods.

Friends dad runs all of alcohol and tobacco for a major retail grocery chain. Said Bud Light is way down every week/quarter and it has been stable at its new lows since the summer.

Miller and Coors light are all up.

The overall impact to AB may be overblown in headlines from right leaning sources, but the numbers don’t lie that decision directly killed Bud Lights reign at the top and gave market share to their competitors.

This^^^^

If I liked the beer I'd still drink it, that socio/political-based back patting and virtue signalling pisses me off more than compels me to fall in.

I still haven’t bought any anheuser-Busch products, but I’ve seen way too many LSU fans paying $30 for bud lights in Tiger Stadium.

Not $30 for one? Really?

Most have moved on to other beers and won’t be going back, even if they forget about the boycott. The fact is Bud Light is too replaceable. It might be different if it were some irresistible, delectable beer. But people already have a new beer they’re in the habit of buying.

I have been to three functions in the last couple months where they had free beer in ice chests. At the end of each event there was nothing but Bud Light left, and people would open it up and see nothing but Bud Light and would not even grab one. We are talking Coors Light, Ultra, Lite, etc....so it wasnt beer snobbery.

Its like anything else, the outrage last until something else pops up to be outraged about.

It seems like when Kid Rock was seen drinking Bud Light things started to die down. He sort of fueled the outrage by shooting up a bunch of cases, then it seemed like a picture of him drinking it was sort of staged.

He probably bought a bunch of shares of stock when the price dropped then wanted to show people "Its cool. Im drinking it. You can go out and buy it. People will not judge".

People get worked up and that blinds them to the fact that there is usually a financial component to everything and they are just pawns to this big game called life.

Kid Rock had nothing to do with sales going down nor has he had any impact on future Bud Light sales.

The woke people were always going to win out. People on here were delusional to think they could make a difference. They have zero will power. The left on the other hand plays for keeps.
