Reddit is one big dem wet dream. Which is funny bc I remember when Trump was in his first term, it seemed like Reddit was heavy pro Trump. Then Biden won and it did a complete 180. And even any bread talking of Biden would lead to bans, don't ask me how I know. Reside still seems to be in the clutch of the corrupt Dems yet still.

I’m so glad they post them because it shows you what type of people are giving you advice if you post a question.
I used to try the /r/parenting subreddit for parenting questions and couldn’t understand why my perspective seemed so vilified there. Like when I posted about my son’s struggles with practicing a sport (he was confused why he wasn’t as good as other boys but refused to actually practice outside of the once a week team practice) and they called me abusive.
Or the thread a while back from a dad posting about how to have a constructive, sex positive conversation with his 15 year old daughter because she had hickeys on her cleavage (which she was exposing in her every day clothes) and the responses were praising the dad and telling him to talk about consent and just being a safe space for her to come to.
They’re people who desperately want to portray themselves as progressive and woke because they’re chronically online after a lifetime of being ostracized from normal society.

The problem there is that you're not allowed to be not a leftist, that you're not allowed to disagree with the left. I don't have a problem discussing tariffs in re getting product parts in and of itself. What they did was presume Canada was the good guys and only discussed Canada only companies.

Before retirement I only used Reddit for DIY, vehicle repair, farm / gardening research.
But now I have found some joy providing reality / facts to progressives over there (especially women). Been banned twice but now know what specific verbiage to avoid. They hate me.

Reddit has a lot of good subreddits. You just have to avoid the ones with people who have no purpose in life. Those folks create problems to feel like they are doing something

I don’t use Reddit much because the format fricking kills me but the content is usually solid. If I have an obscure sports question then it’s usually been answered and discussed already on there
I think I’ve been to their poli board once or twice. I can see why our crew wouldn’t like it there ideologically. It’s the other side of the coin. Sadly we’ve lost the “free speech” moral high ground to stand on, so as a result, it’s not like our poli board is really any different.
X, as mentioned, is a complete cesspool. Just 99% bots and window licking morons that are hiding the actual news and smart people.

I just learned last night when searching for threads about a documentary I watched that I’m banned entirely from the Netflix subreddit. Something I’ve never posted on.
