I would think the bottom line is, is it interfering with your marital relations? But you have to be very objective and honest to answer that adequately.
An easy example is: if you decline sex from your SO because you spent the previous night surfing crazy tentacle porn for 3 hours, then that’s bad.
But if we’re being honest and thorough, even aside from turning down specific offers of sex from your SO, if the porn is causing you to be aloof or emotionally unavailable, that’s also a problem although more subtle and difficult to pinpoint. Right or wrong, for many men lust can be a driving force to be more engaging and involved with their wives. Of course, looking at sex as a quid pro quo probably isn’t healthy either (“I talked to you about your day so I should expect poundtown”).
If your sex frequency doesn’t line up with your SO’s (eg, she’s one a week, you’re twice a week), and you enjoy it to “get by” and avoid betting too pent up, seems like its not altogether bad as long as there’s no underlying problems in your relationship.
Also important, If you find yourself making unfair comparisons (most wives do not look like pornstars and I don’t know if you’d want that anyway), having unrealistic expectations (eg, bdsm, spontaneous anal unless you already do those things) or overly objectifying your wife - need to really evaluate and probably stop or limit the porn.

It’s nothing weird and it’s definitely not often.
It’s really just because we don’t line up, as you put it.
