Sounds like an idiot. Synthetic piss is out there and works like a charm.

Random test. You gonna carry a bag off synthetic piss strapped to your leg with a heat warmer everyday?

My brother in law works hotel desk jobs in the mountains of Colorado. Every hotel he works at wants to elevate him to management he says no every time because he skies 100 days a year and fly fishes during the summer (and gets high daily). He doesn’t want a management level job getting in the way of that.

I on the other hand work like a dog and make good money. So does my wife. When we dream about retiring we dream of skiing 100 days a year and fly fishing during the summer.

So maybe he’s making enough money to get by and doesn’t see $15,000 as worth giving up quality of life?

Only place I worked with fandoms still gave you a couple days to go for the random. So yeah, if I was a regular smoker and worked somewhere that did randoms, I’d have some synthetic readily available.

If it's a delivery job in a company vehicle, company might not have a choice. It's their insurance company that dictates that.

Cut him loose. You don't want to hang with someone who takes the devil's lettuce... there's a time for people to put away childish things

I know some one who's making $16 n hour, doing a delivery job. I talked to him and my boss about getting him over to the place i work, different position, but he'd be delivering product still, but at a $15-18K raise
How does anyone but a single person live on that?

I quit smoking to triple my salary and make over 100k a year. I don’t miss it. It was a no brainer.

I'm a live and let live kind of person, but anybody saying weed can't be addictive is full of crap. I had multiple friends in high school and in college start smoking it and completely changed their lifestyle to revolve around smoking it. They also started skipping class, dressing scraggly, had messy hair, didn't want to do anything but blow down, listen to music, and eat fast food. It was the strangest thing to see someone become obsessed with it.

With that being said I know people who smoke multiple times a week and are highly successful and full of energy and commitment. Its weird how it effects people differently.

If weed didn't exist those same people might become beer enthusiasts, get fat, have a bad liver and do the same. Sometimes it is a personality trait. However, there are withdrawal symptoms mostly sleep for a couple of weeks if you are a regular. That's pretty much it. No different than starting a keto diet. Takes a few days to adjust. Anything that changes your body/brain chemistry will create some issues. Caffeine. A billion different medicines. Going from sedantsrg to worming out

People act like pot isn’t addictive at all because it doesn’t have the same physical withdrawal/addiction symptoms as harder drugs.

People are addicted to the feeling of being high.

To deny that is to deny reality.

What do people think addiction is?

Exactly.

Scruffy doesn’t understand why people deny this.

Almost anything can be addictive. Getting high is an escape from reality. For some it lowers anxiety. It’s not physically addictive and as someone who has battled opiate addiction, it’s kind of laughable to hear people say dumb shite like “weed is as addictive as anything else”. No, no it’s not. It’s as addictive as some things, but not nearly as addictive as others.

It’s not physically addicting. It may be mentally because it’s awesome but its not like alcohol or opioids where it physically addicts you.

No amount of government programs will ever help these kinds of people achieve more. They are content to their less than mediocre life. Great example here, chance to drastically improve his life and chooses the $100 of weed a week

Why is his life mediocre? You have no idea. More money doesnt mean a better life.

That’s not what you said. Is it addictive? For some people, yes. Is it as addictive as anything else? No, not even close.
