Is it really that out there to think you can turn down sex?
I've done it before, and will do it again. Sometimes the baggage that comes with it isn't worth it. Also, sex just for sex's sake doesn't really satisfy me.

This is the problem. I haven't been monogamous for quite that long, but it has been a while now (married several years). While we know exactly what each other likes and can be as efficient or drawn out as we need/want depending on the occasion and both get off every time and it's good and regular, if we are being honest there is no way it is as exciting as it was the first 100 times or so. So it's "perfect" in the sense defined in article, but being honest it isn't always as good as it was a few years ago. If you do ANYTHING 500+ times, it's going to start losing some appeal, sex with the same person included.

Probably. None of them were unattractive that is for sure.
And one is probably the single most attractive person I know. granted most of you wouldn't find her attractive, but to me she is 9.9/10. when she was leaving for the airport, she told me she loved me and hugged me for a LONG time (wiht no bra on). And she had it set up to have an hour or two before she needed to leave for her flight. Then another time, we got drunk at my hotel and there was a similar moment.
I might have been more tempted if she wasn't one of my wife's best friends.

I would say our sex just keeps getting better. Yeah, sometimes we get stuck in a rut. But its pretty easy to try something new.
eta: I have found for me going to nudist resorts with her gets us both really hot and horny.

I have no problem getting them off (and I'm talking tangible evidence, none of this faking bullshite. It's the "we need to change the sheets" kind.) It's me. I can go way too long riding right on the cusp and never quite get there, especially if I've overindulged. Sometimes I'll get a cramp. Sometimes I'll try to fake it. Because it really is an ego blow to them if you don't get off, especially if they've gotten there more than once.

Agreed. If you get married and don't want to cheat, you have to stop these situations from happening before the opportunity presents itself. This can be done for the most part unless you are out looking for it.
Once the opportunity is right in front of you, it's going to be difficult to hit the brakes at that point.

well its never been a hot 23 year old. I don't really run in circles with hot 23 year olds. But all of the woman I have found attractive.
Just the cost of doing so, losing my wife, is much higher than one night of fun.
