Do you expect anything less out of a NBR Metro Council member? They are all corrupt with no conscience.

Which is why my generation is very cynical towards the idea of getting social security at retirement. It's being withdrawn faster than it can be replenished - because of that bullshite.

They got the worst of it. The hoses were in their drains pumping water into the streets.

Just a side note: if you turn in somebody for FEMA shenanigans, can you get a reward?

Well, all to have to do is bring this to the attention of others in charge.
Seems to me when you are stupid enough to leave written evidence of something that is wrong, you should have to face the music.

No wonder the water levels stayed high.

This disgrace of a woman needs to go.

Is Metro Councilwoman Chauna Banks-Daniel encouraging FEMA fraud?
I didn't take her comment to mean that at all.

frick anyone who commits any variation of insurance fraud, including defrauding FEMA.

FEMA expects all people with a valid driver's license to drive a car out of the water.
What does FEMA want the appropriate response to be?

Somebody put this on Facebook. It'll get shared thousands of times and maybe this bitch will get removed from office.

I’m not sure what this will accomplish? The people that vote her into office…are the exact same people she is trying to “help”. Why would they not vote her in next time if she is willing to teach them how to cheat the system so they get paid?

Nakamoto should be all over this.

The more I think about this, the more pissed off I get. To nonchalantly post this on Facebook means it doesn't even register with her that it's fraudulent. She sees absolutely no issue with it, and the "wow" comments are almost assuredly expressing disgust with FEMA's policy, not the fact that the comment is advocating fraud.
The councilwoman and those commenters are not going to let the truth get in the way of what they "deserve".
