Is Marriage a Good Thing?

Girlfriend and I have really been talking about marriage lately, and I've never considered it with anyone before this.
We always said we would wait until all couples could marry, regardless of sexual orientation or the gender identity that was assigned to them by a hypocritical society run by capitalist pigs.
I kid, I kid.
But I ask myself, is it even worth it in this modern age? I'm still in my 20s, great job where I get to travel frequently, with more money I can spend on my own.
Have any of you OT Gentlemen found true love in marriage?

Earl woods told tiger woods that of you are an OT baller that life is too mobile and free to be married.

Yeah, you get to have sex. But honestly it's not as much fun as it sounds.

Depends if you want to throw away half your possessions in a few years

Marriage is good for America. Plus your kids will be smarter, more well adjusted and richer if they aren't bastards.

Marriage is what you make of it. I love being married.
I'm not a self centered immature prick, so that helps.
Fyi, the OT isn't really a great place for relationship advice.

It's a good thing for families. It's not a good thing for "making your life complete" or "lifelong love."
Are you dying to impregnate her ASAP? Get married. Seriously, that's the sign you should get married, you can't wait to have babies with her.
Otherwise, just keep doing what you're doing.

WTF? As if being married is a pre-req to making babies.

It is if you want quality babies instead of leeches on the system.

Best thing I ever did.
The most important thing though is both you and she have to be ready for it. If you're breaking up and getting back together every other week, forget it. If something good/funny/wonderful happens to either of you and your first thought is that you need to share it with the other person, you are on the right track.
