For all intents and purposes, pretty much. My employer gave up on enforcing it about 2 weeks ago.

Trader Joe’s was over 60% mask free a few days ago and nobody cared. That means it’s over.

I recently went to the one on Juban maskless and they didn’t tell me shite. Of course I wasn’t the only one.

They were so psychotic last time we were there that I don't know if I'll ever go back.

I haven't been told much at many places. J Alexander's apparently told my family to wear it to the table last night, but Jones and I walked in after them maskless and spent some time searching for our party and nobody told us anything.

Reginelli's on Jefferson/Government stopped me as I was walking in the door the other day.. with not another customer in the entire building.

The only thing I'll allow is that the workers were maybe ~17 years old, so they are just rule following kids who didn't want to get in trouble.

Every grocery store and store I’ve been in, it’s really a choice now. No one says anything if you walk in without one.

If you want to continue participating in that charade, go right ahead.

Yeps. When the mandate went back into effect a while back, this young black gal working at the Janky Shell by our house was refusing service to every customer walking in without a mask. She was all vocal and shite "You gotta have a mask on to come in here. I'm protectin ma family and my chirrens yall!"
Several ole baws walked straight out the door mumbling shite under their breath.
I obliged like a good sheep to get my Taaka and Natty Light.

The Middle Eastern Owner never wears a mask nor does give a frick if we do. Pretty sure he fired her arse for that shite in the middle of afternoon shift-worker rush. Haven't seent her working again.

My wife and I went to dinner last night at Rouj Creole and no one said a word about masks. The management and staff were all wearing masks of course, non of the patrons cared.

Was there a mandate or just a few stores and restaurants that didn’t want my business?

Fresh Market had a sign "recommending" a mask. That = over to me. Same sign at Sam's.

I think it's pretty funny to see large chains openly ignore JBE's mandate

Regenillis waitress about tackled me because I refused to put one on. Will never set foot in that liberal arse restaurant. Zeas asked me to put one in Covington but did so politely with saying please play the game so I did.

Pluckers bluebonnet still pretty strict about enforcing it for the 30 feet you walk from the hostess station to your table.

I went to the one on Bluebonnet Wednesday night, no mask. Got my food and walked out without any grief.

J Alex enforces it, but being a chain, I suspect that’s a corporate mandate.

Reginelli’s did same to me. College-aged waitress asked me to put it on. One other guest and one guy in kitchen. I felt bad about it later but her tip reflected her choice to tell me to mask up for my 15’ walk to my table in a basically empty restaurant. Hindsight says I should have left and went to Govt Taco.

Same for me at Reginell’s, except I walked in for 20 seconds to pick up a to go order. I said I didn’t have a mask so I waited outside for my order. Stupid thing was the restaurant was empty. Clown world
