Man I could go for a Darrell's special right now.

You guys gotta try Prime right by Cormies. That special is better than Darrells.

Got a CT scan at 2:00 out on Nelson Road, so I may try that.

How does 27 look down towards Hackberry? Are the roads flooded. I work out at Cameron LNG.... wondering if we will be able to get to work this week. I live 3 1/2hrs away so trying to plan my trip back.

TGM,
just sent a text to my next door neighbor who is in HR out at Cam/LNG. Said they closed the plant and he is home in LAF right now. No clue when he will be called to go back to work.

I would try calling the plant / offices first before driving in.

edit: he just sent me another text saying "I'm sure staff employees will need to be there Friday if the roads are open".

best of luck brother and be safe

Nonessential personnel will most likely report to site Thrusday. That does not include CCJV employees.

Lake Charles starting to see heavy rain again this evening after a pretty dry morning. Contraband Bayou had almost gotten back into it's banks around lunch after getting pretty close to Hollyhill houses yesterday.

The streets are still draining though Going to be an interesting night with landfall before the sun comes up. I suppose I need to set alarms and check water levels from midnight to sun up?

If predicted path ends up holding true, LC should be ok.

Prime is good but it can't touch surf and turf from Darrells

My mom lives right by there. It's right next to Cormies?

I've also heard good things about a place called Dave's over on Nelson. Any reports?

Pretty sure that it's the same guy that owns Luna's.

Made it to the airport. Flights out were restricted to shorter runways so they asked for 21 people to volunteer to take a voucher and fly at a later date. I took the voucher because it was $1000 and I am in no hurry. Sort of wanted to ride storm out anyway in case any family needs help. Now leaving Friday instead.

Keeping an eye on the radar. Looks like no rain in LC now, right?

Been quiet a while. Think it's supposed to pick up around midnight or a little after.

Yep all quite now but tonight will all depend on the oath. All the rain is in the NW quadrant. If it continues ENE then we are screwed and will get an additional 8-12" of rain.

Can't speak for other areas, but it's not raining downtown. Get a strong gust here and there but other than that conditions are good.

Looks like Beaumont is taking the brunt of it, and Lake Charles luckily found the dry slot.

No rain, just wind gusts over near Nelson and 210
