One of life's simple pleasures for me is the can't-miss cart slam of sidearming one into the pen. Great sound, and probably subliminally sexual in some way. That and I don't want one rolling into my ride anymore than most others don't want one scratching theirs.

I'm sure you put your cart in a cart bin every time you leave a store.
If the bin is close to where I parked I'll put it up. If not frick it.

Why is that hard to believe? I walk mine back up to the actual store. I was taught to put things back where I got them when I was 5. Not sure about you though.

I always put my in the right place. I also grab one that is out loose on my way in, almost always is one on the way.

It pisses me off that I have to go with my wife to do all the work that I was once paid $3.35 an hour to provide as a service to the customer. Once the stores lowered prices in exchange for customers bagging and carrying out the groceries. Then they established that they could make us do it ourselves so they no longer discounted the products.
I say go pick up your damn carts and keep them out of the parking lot, it's the least the store can do for us. If you choose to shop at a store which provides a minimal level of service and your car gets dinged by one of your trashy peers just tell yourself that when you play stupid games then you win stupid prizes
